We offer the services of a friendly and professional guide to help you achieve your personal goals.
You may be walking to keep fit, or purely for the enjoyment of being in Scotland's wild places. You may be a committed Munro, Corbett or Graham bagger. Whatever you want to achieve, we can help and we will put together an itinerary just for you.
We can take you backpacking and camping into the mountains of Fisherfield or Achnashellach, Ben Alder or Knoydart, or across the water to the Corbetts of Jura and Rum. We can help you climb the mighty hills of Torridon or Glen Affric, and the beautiful mountain ridges of Kintail or Strathfarrar. Wherever you want to go, we can help.
And if you're just starting out then we can help you gradually build confidence and fitness a little closer to home.
£120 pp/per day for 1 or 2 people.
£50 pp/per day for 3 or more people.
This will typically be a 6-8 hour high level walk with ascents of around 1000m+ although times and distances will vary. We list only a few possible options from an almost endless list.
The rough granite mountains of Arran provide spectacular hill walking opportunities such as an ascent of Cir Mhor and Caisteal Abhail or the classic 3 Beinns circuit.
Days spent among the high mountains and magnificent corries of the vast Cairngorm plateau are usually long but very satisfying. We might cycle in to Ben Avon and Beinn a' Bhuird in the east or walk through the Chalamain Gap from Coire Cas into the Lairig Ghru for an ascent of mighty Braeriach.
Many fine mountain days can be had on the craggy Corbetts of Ardgour and Moidart, the towering Munros of Ben Starav and its neighbours in Glen Etive, the Grey Corries and the mountain groups of Ben Lawers or Glen Lyon.
We try to offer a variety of options in differing mountain regions.
MODERATE DAY WALKS
Typically these walks aim to take you off the beaten track to explore the varied and exciting landscape that is Scotland. Walking is generally on good paths and tracks.
The possibilities are many and varied. We might take a circular walk around the stunning Loch Trool, steeped in history, or follow one of the many forest, moorland or coastal trails in this deceptively remote corner of southwest Scotland. We might explore the richly forested lochs and hill paths of the Trossachs, experience the majesty of Glencoe and Glen Etive, or enjoy the gentler landscape round Crinan and the ancient monuments of Kilmartin Glen. Other walks might take us on to the well known Eildon Hills from Melrose or on a circuit of Glen Tilt in Perthshire, one of Scotland's most beautiful glens.
